During our Spirit User Xperience 2013, held from September 25-27 in Istanbul Turkey, our Keynote Speakers Hj Razali Ibrahim and Azhar Omar from PETRONAS presented several interesting topics during their presentation: "Managing Fiscal Metering Systems via Metering Supervisory Computers" to the worldwide audience.
Likewise, dr. Mohammed Salim of Saudi Aramco presented his excellent and clear paper on the design and architecture of Metering Supervisory Computers with his paper: "Steps toward Adopting Metering Control System Designs for Fiscal Measurement Systems".
Other speakers were John Lansing (CEESI, with "Lost and Unaccounted for Gas" and "CEESmaRT", Henk Riezebos (DNV KEMA, with "Managing Unaccounted for Gas & Classification and Benchmarking of Metering Systems"), Frans Doorman (with "Mis-Measurement; the Nightmare of a Custody Transfer Metering System Operator"), Eric Laporte (MECI, with "The Flow-X in the Extremely Rigorous French Metrological Environment"), Wim Volmer (NMI Certin, b.v. with "Metrological Reliability"), Han van Dal (Spirit IT, with "Mis-Measurement Management") and Brent Palmer (Spirit IT, Inc, with "Crude gathering in the USA").
A heavily loaded program of an outstanding level with important and interested oil & gas end-users.
In the afternoon several workshops on "User Feedback" initiated more good ideas and valuable feedback from users of flow computer and supervisory software products. Together with the commitment from our company to take the feedback and these ideas into serious account for upcoming developments, many more product feature developments and enhancements may be expected from our company.
On the second day of the event several new products from our company were presented and demonstrated.
The official launch of our new Flow-Xpert flow calculation App on iOS and Android created a great and encouraging response from the audience. Many delegates downloaded per immediate the rich Flow Calculation App on their iPhones, iPads, Samsung tablets and smartphones.
It offers all flow calculations we have implemented for our flow computer technology and includes even the new GERG-2008 equation of state. And it's free of charge!
