Diagnostic features

Diagnostic features in a supervisory computer are essential to monitor the condition of the connected metering equipment.

Flow computers, ultrasonic meters, gas chromatographs, PLC's, in fact any kind of intelligent field or panel instrument can be monitored and diagnosed.

Actual implementation depends highly depend on the equipment, fortunately  with eXLerate several standard tools are available to allow a system integrator to integrate diagnostics in a supervisory solution. For example, we have developed a method to detect long-term drift in (redundant) transmitter pairs.

Another example is related to the diagnostic features as available in Sick-Maihak ultrasonic meters, where the shape of the ultrasonic signal can be monitored in real-time.
