SCADA
Functionality for Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) can be integrated in the eXLerate based Pipeline Network Management (PNM) system. Since the supervisory system is connected to Flow-X devices, actual values required for SCADA are available on a real-time basis.
Depending on the actual available infrastructure at each station, real-time values for pressure, temperature, gas quantities and quality are available at the PNM system and are presented on various graphics and are organized in a logical setup.
Geographical Information System (GIS)
In addition to traditional SCADA functionality, eXLerate allows for the organization of data utilizing a Geographical Information System, where metering points can be accessed via map data rather than via menus in a navigation system.
