Flow-X in a Network Management system

Instead of installing a myriad of RTU's, flow computers, volume correctors, data loggers and other equipment, our new Flow-X series of flow computers offer combined functionality in a single enclosure.

The touch-screen processor in a Flow-X/P Panel mounted flow computer is a processing unit that can be used as a standalone RTU with built-in data logger.

Even when there are already installed flow computers at a gas metering station, our Flow-X series can be used to obtain data from all field devices, including third-party flow computers and volume correctors.

Data once retrieved by the flow computer can be processed and stored in its embedded data logger with a time-stamp and optionally encrypted records for metrology purposes.

Additional stream modules can be inserted in the Flow-X/P enclosure when one of the existing flow computers need to be replaced, allowing for seamless integrated and long-term upgrade strategies.

The available Ethernet and serial interfaces allow for easy connection to the central system either through TCP/IP connections or by utilizing other technologies such as GPRS, GSM or leased lines.
