Billing data
A major task in a pipeline network system is to retrieve data for billing purposes. With new and open European gas markets, existing systems often lack the kind of flexibility required to properly collect billing information.

Our new Flow-X series of flow computers have combined functionality. Its central processor is able to collect data from external devices and store this data time-stamped. In total, 1GB of storage is available.
The central eXLerate system collects this data periodically, and updates its central relational database with station data.
Billing data includes hourly and daily data from flow computers, gas chromatographs, event logging information, parameter changes, security access data, and more.
At the central system, when stored in the relational database, reports can be generated using eXLerate's reporting engine based on Microsoft Excel report templates.
Communication with each metering station depends on available communication technology. TCP/IP based connections offer highest data throughput, but additional communication alternatives are available as well, such as GPRS, in cooperation with local mobile communication companies.
