April 9, 2009 - Spirit announces the successful completion of MID examination of Flow-X at NMi
MID approval for the Flow-X series

Spirit IT today (April 9, 2009) announced the successful completion of the type examination and certification process of its flow computer range, Flow-X by the internationally recognised testing authority NMi (Nederlands Meetinsituut), for the new European Measuring Instruments Directive MID.
We have passed all tests without any failures or exceptions whatsoever.
The internationally recognized and highly appreciated MID Approvals give the Flow-X series of flow computers the following approvals:
- Measuring Instruments Directive MID, Annex MI-002 and Annex MI-005, including all EMC, ESD, surge, software, accuracy and many other tests;
- EN 12405-1, "Gas Meters - Conversion devices";
- OIML R117-1, "Dynamic measuring systems for liquids other than water";
- WELMEC 7.2, software evaluation.
