Calibration Management System

We are proud to inform you that Spirit has received from the Dutch Metrology Institute, NMi, the order for the delivery of the Calibration Management System for gas meters for the Euroloop project.

The NMi test system which will be located at the Botlek Rotterdam area and which will be the largest test facility in the world for gas meters, includes a high-performance data-acquisition system based on our Flow-X measurement hardware, in combination with a computer system based on our eXLerate visualization and control software platform.

The Calibration Management System (CMS) takes care of automated calibration of gas meters and the accompanying certification. An interesting side effect is that our products will automatically get the attention from the international oil and gas companies who will bring their meters for test, calibration and certification to NMi.

For us it is a special moment that a significant institute like NMi demonstrates its confidence in our company and our technology for such an advanced system.

Fortunately, Spirit has relevant experience with complex measurement systems as we have already delivered several large measurement and control systems for international oil and gas companies worldwide.

The project is expected to be ready towards the end of 2008.
