Flow-Xpert  Calculation Software

Fluid Flow calculations and thermodynamic property calculations using the Spirit IT Flow-Xpert package allows you to use validated software in a modern web-based environment or your favorite spreadsheet program for these detailed calculations.

With the just sheer number of the measurement calculations available today plus  their Metric and US Customary measurement unit variations, the Measurement Engineer is often challenged to know which calculation would best suit their application or may need a check or  validate a calculation in a flow computer for compliance. 

All too often, these Check Calculations are produced by the Engineer themselves which can involve significant time and resources to develop and always the question remains, “has it been implemented correctly”.  Spirit IT solves these dilemmas in calculation with its Flow-Xpert calculation suite. 

Using the same calculations from our leading measurement HMI/SCADA software package eXLerate and the calculations implemented in the world’s most advanced flow computer Flow-X, we have produced perhaps the most comprehensive range of fluid flow and physical properties calculation available. In total, more than 50 functions are available.

Our calculations have been tested by many of the world’s leading metrology testing agencies as well as end user experts in our flow products.  Just the sheer number of validations performed on the source calculations of our products helps assurance to the user that our implementation in Flow-Xpert are indeed correct.

Our fluid flow and thermodynamic property calculations allow you to use your favorite spreadsheet program to perform the most detailed calculations. This is our Flow-Xpert Excel Edition package.

Input data and calculation results are presented in a familiar worksheet and charting environment to minimize any time needed to learn how to use the package. The actual calculations are protected to prevent changes that may impact results or question the credibility of the data.

Besides the familiar Spreadsheet interface we additionally support a standalone version with a modern Web-like look and feel. This version which is called Flow-Xpert Basic Edition is for users who do not need an Excel interface and just need a calculation package ready-to-run.

For companies/organizations who just need a solid and reliable calculation package for their corporate software, we furthermore supply a Dynamic Link Library (DLL) version with a Component Object Model (COM) interface, complete with .LIB/.H/.DLL files. This version is called Flow-Xpert Corporate Edition.

All Editions of Flow-Xpert are protected with an authorization code which must be obtained from our company when ordered.
